Aymara Films is an artist-led production company crafting propulsive narratives across film, television and animation, championing emerging talent and untold stories.
Featured Film — It Ends
A film by Alexander Ullom. In theaters 2026, distributed by NEON. Four recent grads head out for a late-night food run. A wrong turn deposits them on a backroad that does not end, surrounded by untold horrors and cosmic forces beyond their understanding. Premiered at SXSW 2025; winner of Best First Feature at Fantasia International Film Festival.
Who We Are
Our name comes from a curandera in La Paz, Bolivia — an Aymara storyteller who believed stories are the most potent force in the world. We carry her legacy by championing storytellers first: new voices, Indigenous voices, queer voices, across every medium.
Aymara Films anchors the work in film, television and animation. Aymara Interactive rises next, for games and immersive media. And Illapa, our music label, brings the same into sound. In year one we championed three rising voices with productions spanning Bolivia to India, and built a slate of more than twenty active projects with award-winning collaborators.
Featured Artist — Juan Pablo Richter
Writer, director and editor, and one of the most distinctive voices to emerge from Bolivian cinema in a generation. His third feature, Lemu, is in post-production as a co-production of Pucara Films and Aymara Films.
